Introducing Asymetrix

Well, you know how it is, you start speaking to someone, they ask you what you do, and you reply 'I'm a software developer', and the first thing they say is, 'oh, actually I've been having a few problems with my computer'.

I'm sure you've all been there, and I often wonder whether Racing car drivers are forever being asked to touch up a bit of body work on there mates cars! Or whether films producers constantly get request to fiddle with faulty video recorders!

I suppose it's just how it is, but having recently emigrated from the good old UK to start a new life in Gran Canaria, I've been out and about, exploring and making new friends a plenty,and...

...fixing computers, so, with a little time on my hands right now, and with the immortal phrase 'You should set up a PC repair business here, it would go really well' ringing in my ears, I decided, hey, why not.

So, without further ado, I'd like to introduce you all to Asymetrix, my new PC Repair, Upgrade, Home Tutoring, and of course Web Site Design business.

The site's just static pages right now, advertising my wares with a clear call to action on each page, and an enquiry handling system, It took about two days to get right including design and writing all the copy and I must admit, I am pretty pleased with the way it looks and hope it does well.

If it takes off, I will probably look to adding a blog to the site and some links to resources such as anti-virus and maintanance software.

That's it for now, bit of a shameless plug for my new venture I know, but hey, everyones gotta make a living.
